The foundations of the İSTİKAMET brand, which is the first choice of projects in the infrastructure, agriculture, automotive, hydraulics, pump-valve, and railway industries in Turkey and the World, were laid by Hasan Hüseyin Öksüz in Konya Karatay in 1966.

The casting production journey, which began in Konya in 1966, has been continuing under the roof of "İstikamet Döküm A.Ş." with the "İSTİKAMET" brand since 1994.

İstikamet Döküm; sustains its position as a brand known for its quality in the grey, ductile, and polymer casting industry in the World by achieving it through its core values of being process-oriented in products and services, valuing people and labor, always prioritizing customer satisfaction, never compromising on honest and ethical earnings, managing equally and transparently, and being entrepreneurial and pioneering changes.

In addition to its Kayabaşı facilities with an area of 7500 m² and a capacity of 1200 ton/ay, where it continues its production activities without compromising its core values; it continues its investments with an advanced technological infrastructure within the framework of its vision of being an integrated casting manufacturer accredited in the international market, compliant with IATF 16949 and EN 124, open to technological developments.

It put its Bilecik Bozüyük facilities, with a capacity of 5000 ton/ay on a total area of 77.000 m², 45.000 m² of which is closed, into operation in 2017.

With the R&D team at its facilities, it continues to direct the global infrastructure, automotive, and machinery industries by designing and producing high-strength, innovative products fully compliant with international standards (EN 124, IATF 16949).

Generally, it produces all kinds of Grey, Ductile, and Steel Castings for the Mining, Metallurgy, Machinery, Agriculture, Chemistry, Automotive, and Construction sectors. Especially for the Construction sector, it produces products such as Gully Cover, Rainwater Grate, Strainer, Clamp, Bench Seating Group, Pavement Barrier, Wrought Iron, and Cable Protector.

Its export window, which it opened with the Netherlands in 2006; it has expanded to 32 countries in 4 continents by producing quality products at competitive prices, and continues to expand by constantly adding new countries and customers to its portfolio. In 2010, it certified its export success by entering the top 10 exporters list of İMMİB (Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association), and is pleased to maintain its place on the list every year.

It keeps its Quality First principle alive through a laboratory system that continuously controls every stage of production, and with its ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, ISO 45001:2018, BSI, TSE, TSEK, and SASO certifications.

With more than 60 years of knowledge and experience; it will continue to lead the grey, ductile, and polymer casting industry in Turkey and the World, offer quality products to its customers, and add value to the national economy without compromising on its principles.
